One of Vani’s first clients was Doug Brannigan and Envision Productions! An absolutely talented and breathtaking event and corporate videography service at it’s finest! Doug ran into an issue that with time the web has changed so drastically and the ability to showcase videos in HD and larger scale on the web now is so much easier. His existing site we created, though beautiful was not very practical for the “new way” of showcasing his work. So, our solution – we moved him to a Worpdress platform, uploaded all the videos using VIMEO and now Doug has the ability to update and manage his site content as he continues to create masterpieces with his lense! Peppercorn Kids Launched!

Handstand Kids Cooking Accessories Designed By Vani

Earlier this year Vani worked with a dear friend and Colleague Yvette Garfield on the creation of the Handstand Kids Cooking Accessories. These adorable cooking accessories include a colorful block pattern print that Vani created using key ingredients and utensil illustrations that are featured throughout the Handstand Kid Book line. The prints were created and then used on an oven mitt, a chef’s hat and an adorable kids apron. Wish they came in grown up sizes!! Also featured in Bollyinstyle – Los Angeles designer, Vani Gundara recently emailed me a collection of her new line of digital paintings and I was truly amazed by her creativity! She tells me instead of using traditional canvas, paints and brushes, she uses the computer to create custom art by hand painting on the computer. Some might find this process convenient, but I must say, I’ve tried this method and its quite difficult to illustrate using the computer. These paintings are hand created by Vani, so the brush strokes, the outlines of the deities are all individual elements that she created. Very impressive finished product, huh?! Long Live Harry Potter!

How does a brand like Harry Potter plan to stay alive after the last 2 movies are released and the story ends forever? That is the same question the executives at Warner Brothers are asking. They have enlisted the help of some creative minds (Vani) and technology experts to brainstorm how to keep the dark haired, glasses wearing, boy who lived under the stairs in the minds, libraries and silver screens of their audience for generations to come. Vani helped create a pitch and delivered concepts for sustainable marketing to Warner Brothers earlier this year. The images shown below are purely concepts, but keep your fingers crossed and hopefully some of them will be developed in the future!

Below are a few of the concepts Vani developed and pitched to WB:

1) A desktop Widget or Mobile Phone Application – Featuring the Weasly Family Clock. Determine where your family and friends are based on latitude and view it on the Clock. Customize with your own family photos and name. Track each other in a simply magical way.

2) A Mobile Phone Application – Featuring the interface design of the Marauder’s Map fully equipped with moving figures as seen in the film.

3) The Daily Prophet e-newsletter made to look and feel like you aren’t from the muggle world including videos in lieu of still photographs.

4) Fully interactive desktop with embedded videos, countdown clocks, newsletter alerts, related widget content and themes.

5) Other concepts the Vani discussed included:

A Single Source of all Creative Things Harry Potter – food, parties, crafts and more.
Daily Desktop Widget featuring a Harry Potter Comic Strip
Harry Potterize Yourself – Virtual or In Real Life through Online Paper Dolls and Purchasable Clothing and Gear.
Magical Creatures – An Online World to purchase, feed, care for and learn all the ins and outs of the magical creatures featured in the series.
